This vintage contains a higher proportion of wines from black grapes than usual, resulting in a lower proportion of Chardonnay (29%). Chardonnay was used sparingly to add aromatic depth. The wines from the Meunier plots (25%) in villages such as Sainte Gemme, Villevenard and Courmas contribute liveliness and expression. The Pinot
